WOW, what a great guitar
for the money. Body work, finish, hardware.. and overall this guitar looks beautiful.
Alnico Classic humbuckers sound great and I don't see reason to
replace them. In fact they say they use same specification
and same material like original pickups in 50's. However,
the weakest link here is fretwork. Not horrible, but I would
rate factory fretwork on this guitar 3/5. But even if you
don't have right tools to fix it, you can have this work
done at your local guitar shop for additional about $200
dollars.. and in my opinion this guitar is worth this
investment.
As far as I know, they don't make anymore "DOT Series" in this beautiful Vintage Sunburst finish.
