I consider this
EVH Wolfgang Standard, along with my
Jackson Pro SL2Q MAH, as "Best Buy Ever" if this comes to
combination of price and quality. What these 2 guitars have
in common?? They are both made in Indonesia, probably in
same factory, and owned by Fender. I don't see any cons with
this guitar. There is no need for any modifications, in my
opinion.. and fretwork is absolutely superb.
After hours of experimenting, this is
setup that works for me best: - first of all,
straight neck 0.006" at 6th fret and slightly raised
tremolo using spring tension screws, so you can barley fit
sticky note underneath, about 1/4 of turn. This will
eliminate this annoying knocking sound every time you bend
strings :) and I keep my Floyd Rose parallel to guitar body
and even on both sides (E-E).
